This is the first project we have completed in Taiwan – a multi-use complex comprising a shopping mall, hotel, and offices, on the site of a former spinning factory.
It is located in the center of the city of Tainan, in an area with excellent access to the Taiwan High Speed Rail system and good prospects for growth. The design concept was inspired by keywords related to cloth and thread, such as “spin”, “weave” and “wrap”. A special characteristic of the design is the architectural configuration in which applications overlap each other, with organic connections between inside and outside and visual connections between higher and lower floors via atriums.
In addition to the master plan and basic architectural design, the project also included design of the park and shopping mall logo.
